What is the recovery rate of more than 98% of CO2 in the low-temperature methanol washing and NHD processes?
Our NHD system has been in use for several years, and it has consistently met 98% of the requirements; if we’re to talk about recovery rates, it’s probably 100%. As for low-temperature methanol washing, our next large-scale system is set to adopt this approach
The recovery rate I am referring to here is the percentage of the 98% of CO2 that is recovered, expressed as a proportion of the total CO2 amount in the transformed gas. In chemical plants, it is generally sufficient to ensure that the needs for urea production are met; however, if CO2 recovery is to be taken into account, then the recovery rate of all the CO2 must be considered.
The CO2 product gas recovery rate in low-temperature methanol washing is generally 60-70%
