Ducts are generally connected to the atmosphere; they do not need to bear much load, and they are simple to manufacture and easy to install, such as those used in air conditioning systems. There are no specific requirements regarding length and width; as long as there is sufficient ventilation and the installation location is suitable, that’s fine. Circular ducts can withstand pressure; they are more expensive than square ones. Square ducts cannot be used for flammable, explosive, or toxic media to avoid damage and leakage
