After each bottle reaches its 2-year usage period, when applying for a refill license again, the entire bottle must be cleaned. Additionally, after recovering the steel cylinders, if other unknown substances are found during the repair process, or if unusual noises occur while the cylinders are being moved, it is necessary to evacuate and clean them.
During the regular inspection of gas cylinders, there is a process in which the interior is cleaned and dried; refer to the gas cylinder inspection regulations.

The recovered gas cylinders that are found to contain foreign objects upon inspection, or those that make abnormal noises inside when rolled, must be emptied, cleaned, and dried. Also, for those applying again upon expiration, cleaning is required.
Bottles that have reached their expiration date, those under negative pressure, or those that are faulty must all be cleaned. After cleaning and drying, new corner valves and safety accessories must be installed before they can be used again. See the gas cylinder safety regulations for details.
