The characteristics of coking units mean that coked diesel and wax oil contain coke particles of various diameters. It is uncertain whether filters can completely remove these fine coke particles, as the mesh size of filters cannot be made too small. If this is not possible, then after the oil is stored in tanks, the fine coke particles will inevitably settle at the bottom; when the oil is pumped out, these particles will also be carried along. What are everyone’s thoughts on this issue?
Select an appropriate filter with backwash functionality; the mesh size of the filter should be determined based on the size of the coke particles carried along. Brands such as American Paul and Zhejiang Haimite are recommended.
