Due to practical needs as well as limitations in the facilities available, it is now necessary to use a single set of equipment to add both diesel stabilizers and antifreeze agents. Initially, it was decided to first dilute the stabilizer solution with diesel before adding the antifreeze agent, thereby creating a mixed solution to be used for treatment. I was wondering if those who are more experienced know whether these two types of agents can be mixed together I did some research and found that stabilizers mainly break down peroxides in diesel to prevent free radical polycondensation reactions. As for antifreeze additives, they do not require reactions such as polycondensation to exert their effect on diesel; their components likely do not contain peroxides either. Antifreeze additives work by changing the arrangement of crystals, and I think their effect on diesel should not be affected by stabilizers – the two probably do not react with each other
It is likely that the nitrides and sulfides in diesel are the ones affecting its stability; these two substances should have a minimal impact
Strictly speaking, they should be used separately: stabilizers are primarily used to stabilize diesel or other unstable diesel fuels, so they must be added before the product leaves the facility, whereas antifreeze agents are better added before the fuel is sold and blended.

The main components of the stabilizer are: high-efficiency antioxidants and long-chain hydrocarbon polymerization inhibitors. The main component of diesel pour point depressants is polyvinyl acetate. Whether they can be used together depends on the mechanism of action of the product; please correct me if there are any errors, so that we can improve together. 1. Diesel stabilizer: It primarily prevents the formation of free radicals, decomposes peroxides, and effectively reduces sludge; its excellent dispersing ability allows it to quickly disperse sediment particles. 2. Diesel dewaxing agents: They create a repulsive charge between paraffin crystals, causing the crystals to become smaller, with a looser structure and more even distribution; this prevents the formation of clumps of wax crystals, thereby improving the flow properties of diesel at low temperatures. From a mechanism perspective, there is no contradiction between the two. Theoretically, they can be mixed together.
