How to handle a damaged thermocouple in the converter in a 100,000-ton coke oven gas-to-methanol process? Are they all caused by those reasons?

Are there any other methods? Is there anything practical that allows for replacement without stopping the vehicle?
Was the entire tube damaged, or just a part of it?
It’s the thermocouple inside the tube that has been damaged; the corundum of the thermocouple has melted together with the sleeve. The new thermocouple won’t fit in!
If you have to park, then it’s the only option left! I was wondering if it’s possible to replace it without stopping the vehicle?
The main issue with burned-out thermocouples is the destruction of their protective sleeves; you can try using non-metallic silicon carbide sleeves, which work well.
What high temperature can a silicon carbide sleeve withstand?
Our current pure oxygen autothermal conversion furnace is equipped with thermocouples only at the inlet and outlet. There are 3 in each place. 9# Full of excuses
If one thermometer is damaged, the other two can be used as a reference. The conversion furnace doesn’t have a temperature reference point; therefore, the temperature can be determined based on the raw material ratios, the inlet temperature, the parameters of the waste boiler, and the control processes related to the methane content at the outlet. It’s possible to wait until the next major maintenance to replace the thermometer – it’s not a serious issue.
It’s mainly necessary to observe what’s inside the converter! We produce methanol from coke oven gas!
