If it is designed according to GB150, the calculation should be done using the conical head formula for 150; if it is designed according to JB4735, then the formula specified in JB4735 should be used

The original poster didn’t make it clear whether it was a large vertical storage tank or an ordinary vertical tank. The cone top of large vertical storage tanks features a weak-top structure with a thickness of around 6 mm. The term \"weak top\" means that in the event of overpressure inside the tank, this cone top can fail. For ordinary vertical tank containers, strength calculation can be carried out in accordance with GB150.
Generally, conical tops are used for vessels at normal pressure. We also choose values based on experience, as long as the strength is sufficient.
For equipment operating at normal or low pressures, conical tops are commonly used. For values exceeding 150, reference can be made to HG20582, which contains calculations for conical tops with specific vertex angles; for normal-pressure applications, a rough estimate is sufficient as a reference.
