Which one is correct for a centrifugal pump: specific speed or NPSH?

As the title says. I saw it in two books; how can the content be exactly the same, with only one word differing?
There shouldn’t be any difference; both are correct.

The specific speed is correct! There’s nothing like the concept of rotational speed!
The specific speed is correct; for example, in the 3BA-9 pump, the specific speed is 9. At a rotation speed of 9X10 = 90 revolutions per minute, the head is 1 meter. The 2BA-6 pump has a specific speed of 6, which means that at a rotation speed of 6X10 = 60 revolutions per minute, the head is 1 meter. At the same rotation speed, a lower specific speed results in a higher head
