Our company's bottom reboiler is designed with a liquid phase extraction port higher than the gas phase return port. Whether this design will affect the separation effect of the distillation tower, please share your opinions. I am willing to listen.
Does the poster mean that the liquid inlet of the reboiler is higher than the gas phase return port? This situation is still relatively common. It increases the pressure difference between the liquid inlet and the exhaust port, which is more conducive to the flow of fluid in the reboiler, which is beneficial to the heating process and has little impact on the separation effect of the distillation tower.
