Use of WinCC scripts

The more projects I work on using WinCC, the more I realize its powerful functions, especially its scripting capabilities. Those who are familiar with it are welcome to share their experiences.
What is the purpose of WinCC, and in what situations is it used? Could the original poster explain?
Both the domestic Beijing LogicControl and other similar systems are upper-level software. In fact, there are no specific requirements for such software; its role is to create configuration screens that operators can view. I think the upper-level software programs are more or less similar to each other. If one knows some English, it will be easy to learn Chinese as well.
