Reply to floor 10. Your answer is very correct. The red substance is rust. Shiny dry bubbles are a mixture of salt and alkali. Graphite gaskets are used as the shims. The slightly leaking steam caused the mixture and some of the graphite to be ejected. It dries under the heating of the junction box to form a shiny gel-like substance. The water quality remains within acceptable limits because there are few waste discharges during the pressure maintenance period. At the same time, the water circulation inside the boiler drum is essentially at a standstill, due to the formation of sludge.
