Guangdong has formulated a 7-day May Day holiday plan, of which 5 days are compulsory holidays. The Cantonese version of the May Day Golden Week "3+2+2" plan has holidays from May 1st to 7th, a total of 7 days. May 1st to 3rd is a statutory holiday (mandatory). May 4th to 5th is a weekend off (mandatory). May 6th to 7th is a personal annual leave (not mandatory). It seems that you can really take a few days off, so plan well!
