The main steam pipe is approximately 200 meters long within the tank area. First, we need to determine the locations for the drain points; the point where the pipe enters the tank area is the lowest point on the pipeline, while the end of the pipeline is the highest point. Let’s discuss how to determine these locations properly!
As a supplement: I checked some information, and it is common to install regular drain points at the ends of pipelines at their lowest points. The end differs from the lowest point by 300
It is recommended to start at the lowest point, with a drainage point every 60 meters.
Mine uses superheated steam; according to what I’ve found, a drain point can be installed every 200 meters outside the equipment, while for saturated steam, a drain point should be installed every 80 meters
