I would like to ask the more experienced colleagues: in our department’s polymer science program, there are three areas of focus – material preparation, molding processes, and molding machinery and molds. Which direction would be better to pursue? Which direction has better prospects? I’m really confused; I hope the more experienced ones can give me some advice. Thank you in advance

You won’t know until you start working; after that, based on your actual situation, you will choose a direction for yourself. It’s best not to lean in any particular direction for now.
If you can keep up with your studies and enter the workforce, pursuing a career in mold design is a good option; but it depends on your current foundation – you need to work hard from now on. For those preparing for postgraduate studies, the chemical engineering track is a good choice; for those aiming for employment, the processing track is an option, but its technical complexity is low and it lacks long-term potential
When looking for a job, one’s major often plays an important role. Although many times it’s not in my field of specialization. If given a chance, I would lean toward mechanical molding. For reference!
Molding machine molds! This one grows faster compared to the other two; it’s difficult for the latter two to achieve any progress without 10 years of accumulation It's just a personal opinion, for reference only
The field of molding machinery and molds has been very popular for many years; we are a major country in the export of plastic products and toys. If it’s a man, it’s better to choose this major.
Go and ask your senior seniors who are in their final year this year; generally speaking, engineering is better than science
The prospects for molds in molding machinery look good, but it still depends on individual preferences.
