The outlet pipelines of blowers are generally large in size; therefore, pitot tube types such as Anubis flow meters, average velocity tubes, and delta barometers can be used, as well as V-cone flow meters. When configuring DCS, attention should be paid to temperature and pressure compensation.
Is it not appropriate for the moderator to say that “temperature and pressure compensation should be taken into account when configuring DCS”? If the flow meter used by the poster is installed on the air duct, then it will only measure air; in that case, can temperature and pressure compensation be omitted? A V-cone flow meter can be used, or a meter with lower pressure loss such as a Weiba can be employed; using such a meter allows for more accurate temperature and pressure compensation. Whether to use one or not depends on the level of investment desired.
