Our unit currently has one tower that is quite tall, at 67 meters. It needs to be transported in sections, lifted onto site in segments, and then assembled in the air. What precautions should be taken when working with these sections?

The principle of segmentation is basically determined by transportation constraints; segmentation is not required as long as it does not occur in the critical parts of the tower. When transporting, be sure to provide temporary support at the joint sections to prevent deformation, which will avoid difficulties during welding in the air. Furthermore, once the segmented tower arrives at the site, it must be carefully rechecked based on its orientation to prevent any errors in the orientation of the openings. Measure the joint before lifting to prevent deformation. Your 67m Targa skirt should arrive in three sections. The crane needs to be 500 tons. After welding, an X-ray inspection is also required. You should bring a camera to capture the lifting scene, as three-person aerial welding is relatively rare.
