What should be the temperature control during the merging of heating furnaces in delayed coking? What is the furnace outlet temperature after oil is introduced? What about the temperature rise curve?
When the heating furnace is raised to above 400 degrees, the oil and gas from the coke tower are fed into the distillation process; pay attention to the system pressure.
After the oil is introduced at 380°C at the furnace outlet normally, the temperature is increased at a rate of 40°C/h to 420°C, where it is maintained for 2 hours; oil and gas are separated and fractionated when the temperature at the top of the coke tower reaches 350°C. After the constant temperature of 420°C was reached, the temperature at the furnace outlet rose to 485°C within 20 minutes, and the four-way valve was switched to bottom feeding.
After the oil flow at the furnace outlet reached 380°C normally, the temperature was increased at a rate of 40°C/h until it reached 420°C, where it was held constant for 2 hours (this period of constant temperature was not observed in our case). When the temperature at the top of the coke tower reached 350°C, the oil and gas were separated and fractionated. (The oil and gas from our coke tower are continuously separated and fractionated.) After maintaining a temperature of 420°C, the temperature at the furnace outlet rose to 485°C within 20 minutes, after which the four-way valve was switched to bottom feeding. (We switch the 460 to a four-way valve)
