Is there a difference between a disc valve and a butterfly valve?

Today I saw disc valves and butterfly valves; I’m not sure what the difference between them is
It should be the same. Butterfly valve (also known as disc valve): English name – butterfly valve. Definition: A type of valve whose closing element is a disc-shaped plate that can rotate around the axis within the valve body. Structure: It is mainly composed of a valve body, a valve stem, a disc, and a sealing ring. The valve body is cylindrical in shape, with a short axial length, and contains a disc plate inside. Working principle: The disc is driven by the valve stem; rotating it by 90° completes one cycle of opening and closing. By changing the deflection angle of the disc plate, the flow rate of the medium can be controlled. The main seal is a sealing ring, whose material is selected based on the application and the medium.
A butterfly valve is clearly a butterfly valve, as its valve disc resembles a disc; that’s why some people call it a disc valve
