Replacing it with an ammonia-cooled plate manufactured by Shanghai Baofeng. It works pretty well; it uses gravity-based liquid supply and automatic control, and it’s a domestic product ； The quality is relatively good
It seems that plate exchangers are still used less often as ammonia liquid evaporators. Most of them use shell-and-tube types.
