The low-temperature methanol washing technology is mainly provided by three companies: LINDE, LURGI, and DUT. The underlying principles and related processes are essentially the same. The technology developed by DUT (Dalian University of Technology) has seen rapid development in China, with good results, as seen in several methanol production units operated by Yankuang Group.
If you want to make improvements, it’s best to compare it with Linde’s process that handles the same volume of material – that way you can identify the problems!
