The vent pipes from various tanks in the condensation and blower section (such as the intermediate tank for circulating ammonia water, the intermediate tank for excess ammonia water, the tank for excess ammonia water, the submersed tank in the tower area, and the underground tanks in that area) are all collected together and led to the negative-pressure gas pipeline in front of the blower. This system has not been used much in our plant; I would like to know what the advantages and disadvantages of this system are. Could there be problems such as pipe blockages or difficulties in maintenance during its use???
The vent pipes of various tanks in the condensing and blower section are collected together and led to the negative-pressure gas pipeline in front of the blower; the greatest advantage of this is that it reduces pollution of the environment by vent gases and improves the operating conditions. Since this system adjusts pressure balance automatically through self-regulating valves, its operation is quite stable. We have been in operation for over two years without any pipe blockages, and we have not had to carry out any repairs due to failures. Since there are manually controlled valves, maintenance should not present any difficulties.
The drum cooling section storage tank can be used; however, it is not recommended to use ones with poor airtightness, as this can easily cause the electrostatic precipitator to trip.
In reality, many companies rarely use it, which increases risks and nodes.
