During normal production, to what extent do repeated pressure and differential pressure controls affect the product yield?
It has no impact. The level of pressure and differential pressure control at 1, 2, and 3 will affect the catalyst circulation, the linear velocity at the inlet of the centrifuge, and the coking effect. If we must say that there is an impact, then changes in the regeneration pressure require corresponding adjustments to the reaction pressure, and changes in the reaction pressure affect the product distribution ; Changes in the charring effect affect the carbon fixation by the regenerator, and consequently impact the yield distribution of the product.
During normal production, the pressure in stages one, two, and three is determined by the pressure at the outlet of the main fan; this is why the pressure control for the main regenerator differs from that for the backup regenerator. Theoretically, the higher the regenerator pressure, the better the coking effect and the higher the catalyst activity; this in turn affects both the yield and the distribution of the product. However, the actual impact on the product yield is not significant, as in practical production the pressure in the regenerator cannot be raised very high due to constraints such as the pressure at the outlet of the main fan, process conditions, and equipment limitations; it is usually kept at a fixed value without any adjustment, so its effect on the product yield is limited.
