When establishing the water system for the Texaco gasifier prior to startup, in order to maintain a low liquid level in the carbon scrubber for nitrogen displacement, this often results in a high liquid level in the carbon scrubber, which affects the nitrogen displacement process. In severe cases, water may be carried out after startup. Is it possible to use high-pressure gray water directly through the emergency cooling water pipeline to supply the cooling ring during the establishment of the water system, and then start the cooling water pump once the system has been displaced?
This will result in an extended feeding time for the vaporization furnace; so why not use a preheated water system instead, and carry out the large-scale circulation of the system after the replacement is complete?
I can’t quite understand it. Maintain a low liquid level during nitrogen purging; after the purification is complete, raise the liquid level in the wash tower to 50% before feeding material in. If the poster is concerned about water remaining in the scrubber after material feeding, the liquid level in the scrubber can be set higher to prevent underreporting of the liquid level after feeding, which could lead to the cooling water pump being emptied.
