My laboratory conducts research on petrochemical reactions, and we need a reactor with a high stirring speed – the rotation rate should be between 2500 and 3000 revolutions per minute. I searched online for Weihai Automatic Control Reactor Co., Ltd., but found that its maximum rotation speed is only 1500 revolutions per minute. Does anyone know where I can buy high-speed reaction kettles? The required conditions inside the reactor are as follows: Temperature: 0-60 ℃ ; Pressure: 0-15 atmospheres ; Medium: gasoline + liquid catalyst, with slightly high viscosity ; Medium corrosivity: Slightly corrosive ; Kettle size: 500 milliliters.
The rotation speed of the mixer must be adjusted according to your company’s actual product manufacturing processes; many mixers are capable of high speeds, with some even reaching tens of thousands of revolutions per minute. There’s also the diameter of the stirrer. Generally speaking, subject to meeting your process requirements, it is necessary to first choose the type of mixer; each type of mixer has an appropriate linear speed to ensure its effectiveness. For mixers of the same type, the rotational speed increases when the diameter is smaller. It is recommended to first consult the book on mixing equipment in the Comprehensive Book of Chemical Engineering Design to select an appropriate mixer, and then look for manufacturers to assist with the final selection.
Thank you for the suggestion from above; I have already borrowed the book titled “Mixing Equipment”. After comparing, I found that the impeller I need should be of the propulsive type. I consulted several manufacturers in China and found that the highest mixing speed is 1750 revolutions per minute. To reach 3,000 revolutions per minute, imports are required; the equipment is expensive and the delivery time is long.
Consult a few mixing equipment manufacturers in Wenzhou to see if they can do it. Mainly, first, the rotation speed is high, and second, the equipment is too small; many manufacturers are unwilling to produce it. It’s too troublesome.
