I wonder how the brothers’ factory deals with concentrated brine – are there any good methods for handling it? Water conservation is encouraged.
It depends on what type of salt you have; if the salt content is high, concentration and crystallization might be a good solution. Membrane separation has significant limitations – it cannot be used to treat solutions with too high salt concentrations
We use it to water roads, irrigate trees, and pour ash into boilers. The cost of treatment is much higher than the cost of water usage; most manufacturers choose to discharge the waste directly without treating it, which is a shame. There should be a greater awareness of water conservation.
