Question: What are the sheet materials with holes?

Now, a perforated sheet metal is needed (like an ordinary steel plate with many holes). The cost of drilling is too high; I want to buy one that’s already made. But I don’t know what the standard is? Including materials, specifications, and so on. Have you come into contact with this type of steel plate? Thank you so much!
It depends on how thick you need it to be; if it’s thin, just buy a sieve net

Thank you for the reply. It’s 2mm thick, and it needs to be a flat plate; the holes shouldn’t be too close together, with the spacing between them being at least greater than the diameter of the holes. Is a sieve like a net?
I checked the punching plates and screen plates, but they all contained information regarding the supply of these types of plates, as well as information on suppliers. On the drawing, how should I express it? For example, what is the standard number?

We have previously ordered the materials mentioned by LZ for use as trays in cross-flow tower plates, and we believe that the manufacturer can meet the manufacturing requirements if the following conditions are specified: 1. Size and shape of the holes; 2. Material requirements; 3. Thickness; 4. Porosity; 5. Any special requirements, such as acid washing and passivation, removal of burrs, or chamfering of specific holes
Just draw a diagram and give it to the relevant manufacturer – there’s no need to do everything by yourself; it’s completely possible to outsource the work.
There are specialized punching machines; the person in question only needs to draw the shape they desire, and then seek a professional factory to manufacture it.
