For the Hangyang 21000 external compression oxygen generation unit, the resistance in the pure argon tower system sometimes rises abnormally, sometimes reaching its maximum value; additionally, the pressure at the top of the tower sometimes drops abnormally. There are no significant abnormal changes in other parameters. Could some experienced colleague help me analyze the possible reasons? Thank you in advance! ! Haha···
It is a phenomenon of liquid suspension in the pure argon tower; the solution is to reduce the evaporation amount at the bottom of the tower and lower the liquid level in the pure argon condenser； Reduce the load, and gradually increase it once distillation stabilizes. But it is essential to ensure stable distillation conditions.
The refined argon tower is a packed tower, not a tray tower – so how can there be liquid suspension?
Similar situations have occurred in our unit as well; after making the following adjustments, things became more stable. You might want to give it a try. 1. Slightly increase the liquid level at the bottom of the refined argon column. 2. Adjust the PID values of V715, V706, and V751
