How is \"transfer\" used in the flowsheeting options? For example, in the case of a stream from A to B, if I initially assign a value to B, is that value temporary, or will it be overwritten by the value from A later on?

Flow stock information can be overwritten. There seem to be restrictions on other things.
It’s exactly as the original poster thought. Fill in some stuff for B as well, so that the program turns blue. Transfer is an automatic, real-time copying function, and it allows you to choose what to copy. Nothing else.
First, logistics B is defined, and then it is passed on to logistics A; when A changes, B changes as well, which is equivalent to copying the logistics
