My understanding of Ende’s coal gasification technology is not deep enough; for example, I am not clear about how factors such as the gas-to-coal ratio, coal quality, furnace temperature, and furnace pressure affect the quality of the generated gas and what the relationships between these factors are This post was last edited by jensse on 2009-3-23 16:43]
I learned some of this before; lignite was used, and the furnace temperature should be between 900-1000 degrees, with the temperature having to be kept below the ash melting point. The furnace pressure should not exceed 14.5 KPa.
The Ende furnace is designed primarily for younger coal types such as lignite, bituminous coal, anthracite, and weakly caking coal, with a temperature set about 200 degrees below the ash fusion point of the coal℃
