May I ask, does anyone know which facility has an H2S content in the gas before desulfurization of over 15 g/m3?
I’m not sure about that, but 15 g/Nm3 is considered a quite high concentration; generally, H2S concentrations in gas are not very high when they exceed 1 g/m3.
Except for low-sulfur process gas, the sulfur content in normal process gas is above 2%; what high-sulfur process gas should be used to bring the H2S content to 15 g/m3? ? It’s usually the process gas from oil refining, right? There won’t be that much sulfur in coal~~! The sulfur concentration in the transformed gas is not sufficient; the sulfur addition rate to the gasifier is also around 3%, right?
If methanol is produced from coke oven gas, this value isn’t considered high; we’ve seen values over 300. If the wet desulfurization process isn’t effective, the sulfur content in the output will be very high
In the gas from our company before desulfurization, the hydrogen sulfide content was as high as 16 g/m3; converted to standard cubic meters, this corresponds to 17.5. What would you like to ask?

The rough desulfurization of hot gas (mainly hydrogen sulfide, H2S) is typically at 500 ppm, with a desulfurization accuracy of 100 ppm； The precise desulfurization level is generally 150 ppm, while the accuracy of desulfurization is usually 5 ppm
I want to ask this question too. The sulfur content in coking coal mixtures is generally no higher than 0.6%. If calculated at 0.6%, the H2S content in coke oven gas should be above 15 g/m3. (Generally 1 t of coke/1.4 t of coal, 330 Nm3 of gas per t of coke)
Such a high sulfur content makes it clearly inappropriate to use a packed tower; it is better to carry out pre-deposition using a spray tower before feeding the material into the packed tower.
