Due to the outbreak of the global economic crisis, which has had a significant impact on our country’s economy, our company has decided to postpone the construction of the dimethyl ether project. However, the company has already signed contracts with the manufacturers of the spherical tanks, and the steel material needed for these tanks (15MnNbR) is already ready – in total, two 3000m3 tanks are involved. We now wish to transfer these two tanks or the raw materials to other companies that may need them. I think this is very difficult; these spherical tanks are used very rarely anyway, and these days most factories and stations don’t replace their equipment
Right? It’s really driving me crazy. The design pressure for the dimethyl ether storage tanks is low, at only 1.2 MPa. I’m not sure where else this could be applied.
