Recently, on the forum, I often see some issues that were already discussed and resolved being raised again by new members. Repeating questions is almost equivalent to spamming; it wastes your time, everyone else’s time, as well as the forum’s space resources. It is recommended that sailors search first before asking questions, to see if someone has already asked the same question. If so, take a look at the discussions here to see if your question has already been answered ； If previous discussions weren’t helpful to you, you can pose more specific questions so that everyone can discuss them and learn from one another. I hope that the moderators and enthusiastic marine enthusiasts can categorize the issues that have been discussed in the past, organize them, so that everyone can use them as a reference for learning. Many new members, as they are not yet familiar with the forum’s rules, are bound to make various mistakes, which is understandable; we can only hope that they will integrate into this big family as soon as possible. The scary thing is that many long-time members do it despite knowing it’s wrong.

In fact, by searching for relevant information, one can find a lot of resources, which is much better than posting questions and waiting for answers. One also learns more in this way. I understand; the forum’s search function isn’t very good~~~ Sometimes, when I try to find a particular question and go back to check it later, I can’t find it. In most cases, however, I can find the relevant forum posts by searching on Baidu~~~
This issue has existed for a long time. Sometimes people want to understand a certain question in more depth, so they ask it again. Also, newcomers tend to ask repetitive questions; they’re probably not very good at using search functions, haha
