Are there any PTMEG practitioners? Regarding storage and transportation, what is the cost comparison between barrelled and bulk forms? What special equipment is needed?
I don’t have specific experience in the packaging, storage, and transportation of the products mentioned by LZ, but I have been involved in handling the packaging, storage, and transportation of similar products such as PPG/POP (polyether polyols/polymer polyols); Generally speaking, the cost of products in barrels is higher than that of those transported in bulk (using tank trucks); therefore, almost all polyether polyol manufacturers in China charge a higher price for products in barrels compared to those shipped in bulk. At the same time, bottling the product requires corresponding liquid filling equipment and a large number of packaging barrels, whereas bulk handling only needs appropriate loading nozzles and flow meters. For reference!
The cost of bottled products is higher than that of bulk products. Barrel filling can be done using Mettler-Toledo’s fully automatic barrel filling machines
We are a warehouse area that handles the storage and distribution of PTMG finished products for Japanese factories. What specific problems do you need to solve?
As for whether to use barrels or bulk delivery, it depends on the customer’s requirements. Moreover, since PTM products have a high value, some customers use relatively small quantities of them, so it is necessary to offer various shipping methods; Moreover, the cost of packaging is usually passed on to the buyer.
You have to reply first to be able to view it; it’s a waste of time
What’s going on? I might have set it there; it won’t recognize things it doesn’t know
