How should we assess whether the width of the berthing water area at the front of its dock meets the requirements?
Is there anyone who is familiar with this? I’ve come across a discharge terminal for an in-filled harbor basin, and I’m not sure about the appropriate parameters to use.
At present, for evaluators, they can only rely on the water depth charts of the dock area to determine whether the width of the water area that meets the water depth requirements at the dock’s front meets the requirements for the width of the berthing area there. Additionally, the distance from the channel boundary line is also taken into consideration.
