In the quotas for anti-corrosion work, manual pipe rust removal is classified into light rust, moderate rust, and severe rust. In my understanding, this classification describes the degree of corrosion on the pipes; so to what level should the pipes be polished? What old standard should be used?

As required, the rust removal of all pipes and steel structures on site is carried out through centralized shot blasting in a prefabrication yard, followed by anti-corrosion treatment. The requirements for rust removal and anti-corrosion are primarily based on SH3022-1999 \"Technical Specifications for Anti-Corrosion Coatings of Petrochemical Equipment and Pipelines\", GB8923-88 \"Rust Grades and Rust Removal Grades on Steel Surfaces Prior to Painting\", as well as the requirements specified in the design technical documents.
