Sealing performance of Texaco check valves

There are two program-controlled valves (KV valves) between the Texaco gasifier and the lockhopper. The lower valve is used for isolation during normal operation, while the upper one is a safety valve that activates only when certain conditions are met. I would like to ask: the medium flowing through the lower valve is slag water, which causes severe erosion, and the pressure difference before and after the valve is high (40 kilograms or 65 kilograms). Under such conditions, can this valve still ensure proper sealing? Can it be ensured that the vaporizer is not affected when the lock box releases pressure?
When it is gray, only the second slag lock valve needs to be closed in order to isolate the pressure from the gasification furnace; if there is a leak in this valve, the two valves can be switched around, that is, the signal can be changed. The concern expressed by the original poster regarding potential impacts on the gasification furnace is unnecessary, as some domestic manufacturers are already capable of achieving this technology – for example, those from Shanghai Hongsheng can match the performance of foreign manufacturers pretty well.
Shell has a similar lock-hopper device, but during operation both valves close simultaneously, which is why this question arises. Thank you!
