Are devices designed and manufactured according to Chinese standards restricted abroad?

We have some equipment that will be used abroad; which standards should be followed for its production? I think the **standards of the location where it will be used** should be applied, right?

Will the equipment we import comply with Chinese standards? Of course not. As long as the key technologies are in the hands of foreigners, and as long as the contractors are foreigners, even if production takes place in China and the design is done by Chinese people, the supporting equipment still has to be made according to foreign standards.
Then can’t the equipment manufactured in China be sent abroad as export equipment? Can’t it just be produced according to Chinese standards? This post was last edited by jyszyx on 2009-4-5 13:29]
