Is it common for pipes to corrode and for equipment to be unable to stop operating?

Do you often encounter such problems in production – where pipelines corrode or leak and cannot be repaired using methods involving welding or other heat-based processes? And does it happen frequently that production stops, resulting in significant losses?
This situation is not common. If this situation occurs frequently on a production line, the process design should have included dual pipelines from the start.
Such situations do exist, but ways must be found to resolve them; if nothing else works, then parking is the only option!
This situation should be rare, as the corrosion allowance for pipes is generally greater than that for equipment.
Generally, there isn’t; this situation should be taken into account during design. The piping used for handling media with high corrosivity is certainly also corrosion-resistant
When such problems occur, there is now a pressure-based leak sealing technique that can be searched for; I only have a general idea of it and don’t want to mislead anyone
