I wonder how you arranged it? If the alkali in the tank is to be pumped out using a pump, and there is no height difference between the pump and the tank, then an submersible pump should be used and installed directly on the tank; however, attention must be paid to the length of the pump and the dimensions of the openings in the pump mount on the tank. If there is a certain voltage difference, an vortex pump can be selected.
For ordinary centrifugal pumps, attention should be paid mainly to the sealing and the material of the pump body; seals on alkali pumps often leak. Recommended material selection: Material S-6
