I would like to ask about the setup of chimneys for 6-meter coke ovens: how many ovens share one chimney? Height of the chimney, diameter? What is the flow rate of the flue gas emissions, approximately? Thank you
Generally, two groups of coke ovens are equipped with 1 chimney. The height of the chimney is related to the number of openings; the more openings there are, the greater the volume of flue gas, and thus the higher the chimney height required. Generally, 75 to 90 meters is sufficient.
I agree with some of the views expressed on the first floor. The height of the chimney should be more than 90 meters; it should generally be above 110 meters. The chimney of our factory’s 2*60-hole coke ovens is 135 meters high
The height of the chimney should be determined based on production capacity – the highest ones I’ve seen were 148 meters tall! ! !
There are two main factors to consider when designing the height of a chimney. The first is the production capacity of coke ovens. The chimney serves as the power source for the coke oven; the flow of gases inside the coke oven is driven by the suction force generated at its base. The higher the chimney, the greater this suction force, and thus the greater the driving force for the gas flow inside the coke oven, leading to an increased production capacity. The second is the diffusion height. The height of the chimney must be greater than that of the surrounding buildings. The distance between the surrounding buildings and the chimney depends on the amount of dust generated, in order to ensure effective dispersion of the dust. The main parameters taken into account when designing chimneys include: geographical and natural conditions (elevation, wind direction, terrain, etc.), the volume of flue gas, the lowest and highest climate temperatures, the flue gas exhaust temperature, and the exhaust conditions, among others.
Thank you. I just wanted to ask about 6-meter coke ovens with 60 holes. Could you tell me how many rise pipes such ovens have in your factory? Do you know their diameter and height? What is the approximate amount of exhaust gas? Thank you again!
Thank you so much to everyone for their answers :) :handshake
