Are there any updated specifications regarding the central control rooms of new facilities in the petrochemical industry? What is the safe distance from the production units? I found that the old specifications specified 30 meters; I’m not sure if there are any new requirements
Reference can be made to GB50160－92, which is the current version of the standard. GB50160－2008 has been released and will be officially implemented soon. I just haven’t seen it yet. In accordance with the requirements of this specification, as a critical facility throughout the entire plant, the control room must be located at a distance of 35 m, 30 m, and 25 m from production facilities of categories A, B, and C, respectively.
