What is the function of sulfur foam tank? Please give your opinion.
Receive the sulfur separated from the regeneration tower and separate part of the sulfur from the desulfurization liquid to reduce the amount entering the molten sulfur kettle. This post was last edited by ldy6230016 on 2009-3-24 21:12 ]
The sulfur foam produced by the contact between sulfur-rich liquid and air is either heated by steam and then enters the Gormo sulfur foam filtering device to generate sulfur paste; the other is pressurized by a sulfur foam pump and sent to a sulfur melting kettle to continuously melt sulfur to generate sulfur paste.
Contains sulfur foam and buffers the pressure of foam processing equipment to enable normal operation. Facilitates centralized processing of foam.
Regarding the function of the sulfur foam tank, several posters are right. The main function is to receive the sulfur foam from the top of the regeneration tower. After heating, stirring, and sedimentation separation, the sulfur foam entrained with gas and desulfurization liquid is broken. Part of the desulfurization clear liquid floats to the upper part and sinks to the lower part of the foam tank due to the gravity of the sulfur particles. Due to the different processes of each factory, the separated sulfur foam concentrate is transported through foam pumps, some to the sulfur melting kettle, some to the centrifuge, and some to the filter.
If you use a continuous sulfur melting kettle, you don't need to heat it. If you use an intermittent sulfur melting kettle and some filters, you need to heat it.
