What are the application prospects of circulating fluidized bed gasification?

Multi-product production at different stages seems to be a way to make better use of limited coal resources. In my opinion, this process route is quite ideal. If the issue of energy recovery and utilization can be addressed effectively, its prospects are very promising: victory:

The graded conversion and utilization of coal should be a promising direction for future development. Separately recovering and utilizing the different components in coal can better reflect the comprehensive value of energy utilization. At present, it is at least possible to achieve combined production of oil, gas, coke, electricity, and heat; however, further technological advancements are still needed. When companies focus on multiple components rather than just the value of a single one, it may drive greater progress in industrial demonstration and application. Regarding furnace types, circulating fluidized beds have advantages in this regard; at least the pyrolyzed semi-coke can be directly fed into the furnace for combustion while still hot. Compared to other coal utilization techniques such as those using gaseous or solid carriers, heat loss is much lower. Just my humble opinion.

Clean combustion of coal is an inevitable trend in the development of coal energy in our country, and the circulating fluidized bed is precisely the technology that can achieve this goal. What we are doing now is the gasification of coal, and in the future, combined heat and power generation from gas will be developed.
