What does \"Valu\" refer to in a reciprocating compressor? What’s included? Thank you
It’s the air valve! Transliteration terms passed down from the older generations!
It’s the bearing bush; many older workers still use this term.
How could it be a bearing shell? It must be a valve; remember that.
In my personal opinion, I’ve never heard the older generation use the term “Valu”; but theoretically, “Valu” is somewhat similar to the English translation “valve”. Just as the older generation tends to call a “coupling” a “back-wheel connector”, its English term is actually “coupling”.

It’s what the person on the 2nd floor said – it’s a gas valve. The transliteration of VALVE is Valu
I’ve broadened my horizons. Yalu is a gas valve. But I couldn’t find where the air valves are in the longitudinal sectional view of the centrifugal compressor; all I saw were snap rings, thrust bearings, end caps, and so on.
It’s clearer to call it a valve – everyone can understand that!
Centrifugal compressors don’t have air valves, right! Only reciprocating types have them
It should be a gas valve; we still commonly call it “Valvo” at the moment.
