Milling Machine Operating Procedures: 1. Check the lubricating oil in the spindle head lifting and feeding mechanism boxes to ensure the oil level is at the specified level. 2. Fill the three guide rails and various oil holes with lubricating oil. 3. Ensure that the lifting handle and operating handle (manual) function smoothly, and make any necessary adjustments. 4. Check whether the main motor, cooling pump, and lighting switches operate smoothly. 5. Start the machine at a low speed for 3–5 minutes to allow all components to operate smoothly under lubrication before beginning actual work. 6. Check whether the lifting and longitudinal mechanisms function smoothly; if there are any problems, stop the machine immediately for inspection and repair. 7. Select appropriate tools based on the workpiece being processed, and secure the tool shanks in the spindle’s taper holes. 8. All tools and measuring instruments should be placed on the work stand; if they must be placed on the worktable, use wooden boards or rubber pads as a base. 9. Understand the processing requirements for the workpiece carefully; if marking is required, verify that the correct areas are marked. Do not feed the tool too quickly at the start to avoid damaging it. 10. If anything seems abnormal during operation, stop the machine immediately and manually rotate it to check for issues and carry out repairs promptly. 11. It is absolutely forbidden to cool the milling cutter while it is in operation using a damp cloth or oil-soaked cotton. 12. When the machine is not in use, the power supply must be turned off. 13. Clean all tools, equipment, and accessories thoroughly and arrange them neatly. 14. Fill out the equipment operation records and shift handover records carefully.
