The foundation of the newly installed pump in our company (which has been installed) has sunk by 5 mm at one end – the end where the motor is located. This is very dangerous; it’s necessary to rebuild the foundation.
Continue observing; it’s not sinking, so just install the leveling device. If there is further settlement, reinforcement solutions need to be studied.
It will certainly affect the operation of the pump. We are now investigating the cause of the foundation settlement, reinforcing the foundation, then reinstalling and aligning the pump before connecting the piping for use.
