What are the differences between Haiyou WP304H and TP304H?
It should be the same; it’s just expressed differently
No way! It uses ASTM standards; there should be some differences/
WP ------- Abbreviation for material standard; forged pipe fittings. TP304H ------- Stainless steel pipe of 304H grade
ASTM standard: ASTM International Association for Testing Materials, IATM. WP304H: Straight-seam welded pipe made of 304 stainless steel. TP304H: It is made from 304 base stainless heat-resistant steel; it features good formability and weldability, excellent corrosion resistance, high yield strength and structural stability, as well as very good cold formability. The maximum operating temperature can reach 650°C, while the maximum oxidation resistance temperature can reach 850°C. Additionally: 304H is the material code for stainless steel pipes, corresponding to China’s grade 0Cr18Ni9. WP refers to straight-seam welded steel pipes, while TP refers to cold-drawn seamless steel pipes; although their manufacturing processes differ, their materials are identical.
There are still some differences between 304H and 0Cr18Ni9; the standards specify different carbon content levels.
