Generally, there are no brass components on the pump rotor; dust covers and oil seals can usually be made of cast steel or cast aluminum；
The shaft sleeves on gear pumps or screw pumps are made of brass.
Impellers of centrifugal hot water pumps, impellers/guiding wheels of condensate pumps, etc.; shaft sleeves for gear pumps; crossheads of column pumps, etc
What pump? It’s best to send a picture of that area! ! In a centrifugal pump, it could be the oil ring that has fallen inside the bearing housing! ! Usually 2!!
