How are the installation positions determined between the upper and lower pipe openings of the siphon reboiler, as well as between those openings and the liquid level gauge located at the bottom of the tower?
Why isn’t anyone answering this question?
The upper port of the reboiler should be above the port of the level gauge, while the lower port of the reboiler should be below the port of the bottom-level gauge of the tower.
Here is an example of our on-site installation: the level gauge for the reboiler in the methanol distillation column uses a remote-type magnetic flap level gauge, with the lower end of this gauge located above the upper pipe opening of the reboiler. I’m not sure if this description is clear enough
Friend on the 4th floor, you said that the lower outlet of the level gauge is above the upper outlet of the reboiler; that shouldn’t be the case. Anyway, our factory doesn’t have such a situation. The lower outlet of the level gauge should be located between the upper and lower outlets of the reboiler.

How to install the level gauge in the monomer distillation tower and the level gauge in the receiving tank
Since it is best to keep the liquid level in the distillation column near the upper tube sheet of the siphon reboiler, so as to maximize the heat exchange area of the reboiler, it is advisable for the middle part of the level gauge to be located near the upper tube sheet.
The upper port of the reboiler should be at the same level as or above the upper port of the level gauge, while the lower port of the reboiler should be below the lower port of the bottom-level gauge of the tower.
