May I ask about common lining materials and their properties? For example, T*TB-800
Amorphous heat-insulating and wear-resistant lining materials for refining units: Bulk density (110°C) (kg/m3), Pressure and tear resistance strength (MPa), Percentage change in linear dimension after firing, Thermal conductivity (500°C) (W/m·K). Applications: R110°C, 815°C – T*TB-800; 800±50, 3.0, 2.0. 1100°C: 12; 1400°C: ≤±0.5. Corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant layer: T*TB-1350; 1350±50, 5-6, 4-5; 1200°C: ≤±0.5, ≤0.38. Corrosion-resistant and heat-insulating layer: Used as lining for ion exchange columns, providing corrosion protection. Some of the equipment is made of carbon steel with a stainless steel lining inside, mainly to save costs. Lining materials are widely used in various industries.
Several common linings for chemical processing equipment: PTFE lining – highly resistant to corrosion and inexpensive, but not suitable for use in vacuum conditions； PFA lining – high corrosion resistance, higher cost than PTFE ； Enameled glass lining – can be used at higher temperatures, but is fragile and should not be subjected to impacts ； Titanium lining – extremely reliable, but expensive.
